RADKA KUŽELOVÁ
Radka Kuželová (born in Vrchlabí) lives and works in Prague. Her work has been influenced mainly by the painter Nicolai Stanev and Vaclav Benedikt, under whose guidance she spent several years landscape painting in European coastal areas. She is also a member of the BENE group of painters. Her favorite techniques are mainly oil, water colour and acrylic.
In addition to her artistic skills, she shows a talent for theater performance and has worked in The Jiří Wolker Theater in Prague as a dance choreographer. Amongst her most significant achievements is the decoration of the Svojšice Castle where she created a series of healing pictures for the mentally handicapped institute. Last year she cooperated with artists M. Zeithammel and P. Šmíd
at the newly opened project Fairy Kingdom in Prague – Jarov. As one of the major artists she modelled fairytale figures, created large paintings, managed all modeling of the countryside and took care of all arranging.
Part of her work she has dedicated to figural semi-act in a wide range of colors, reflecting feelings from light aggression, sensuality, passion to utter relaxation.
She has expressed the influence of Reiki healing through a series of images that fill with positive energy and have the ability to induce mental harmony. Her paintings evoke a mysterious charisma which is highly individual and capable of passing through the senses.
